I've been toying around with an idea for a miniature 1-bit metroidvania inspired by gothic cathedrals. It's uhhh not very far along, but I'll remember to put some screenshots of it here as I keep stabbing at it!
If you don't know what a game jam is, they're events where devs try to make games in a teeny tiny time frame, usually a weekend or a week. These are some jam entries I've done (at least, these are the ones I've finished mehehe).
These are here for my own nefarious archival purposes (and for those so bold as to peer into my high school game dev era...)
I don't like having this game accessible on my itch page just because it's buggy, confusing, and NOT FUN to play (annoying janky platforming for literally no reason since it's a narratively driven game haha).
That said, it was my first and only completed project with Unity before I hopped over to Godot, and it has a really special place in my heart. Endearingly cringe like all old projects should be!

So you know how I bad talked that last one? This one? It's worse. So bad it gets the front-facing mega yikes garpejio reaction™.
YEAH. THE FRONT-FACING MEGA YIKES.
The art? Made in MS paint and free web apps. The game engine? Never heard of 'em - give me that sweet, sweet javascript canvas api. The gameplay? I hope you like pressing the space bar.
Anyways, it's boring as hecc. The password is "Lanfel". Go ham if you're an internet masochist that enjoys indulging in a stranger's cringe lore (I still love you, *smooch*).
